About our Leeds clinic
Surrounded by attractive gardens, our Grade II listed clinic is conveniently located in the centre of Leeds, a stone’s throw away from the University of Leeds and Leeds General Infirmary.
From the moment you arrive to the day you leave, we want our clinical trial volunteers to feel at home. That’s why we’ve gone out of our way to make our facilities as comfortable as possible and our Volunteer Entertainment Team ensure it’s just as enjoyable.
Why not take a look around our unit to see what it is really like on a study?

We’re easy to find
Arriving by car?
Unfortunately, there is no available parking for volunteers at the Leeds Unit. As we are adjacent to the University and Hospital campus, parking in the surrounding areas is also limited.
There is a short stay NCP car park opposite the A&E department of the hospital on Clarendon Road, but we recommend the use of public transport to access the clinic.
However, Covance understands that volunteers may have to travel a long way to attend and in some situations it may be possible to provide refunds for parking in designated car parks close to the unit. Please contact us to see if this is possible for your visit if required.
Arriving by bus?
The Leeds City Bus stops right outside the Leeds unit and provides transport around the city centre, including the coach and train stations, every ten minutes from 6:30 am to 7:30 pm Monday to Saturday. Click here to see the route.
Arriving by train?
Covance CRU Leeds is in the Northern Quarter of Leeds City Centre and is only a short journey from the train station. With National Rail links from all over the country, Leeds is easily accessible from anywhere in mainland UK. The train station is also on the Leeds City Bus route.
Arriving by taxi?
The unit is located next to the entrance to the Leeds Dental Institute at the Leeds General Infirmary and close to Park Lane College. Most local taxi firms should be able to get you to the clinic, though it may be useful to have our postcode, LS2 9LH to hand, in case the driver needs to use GPS to find us.
Booked an appointment?
